Sound2u is a free communal website in which sound databases and articles related to the professional audio industry are centralized. This website helps community members to use different sounds databases for their own personal purposes and also to enrich their knowledge in the field of professional audio by reading articles and tutorials which will be posted on the website from time to time. |
The website's objective:
Sound2u aspires to create a broad sharing community which will be able to supply an answer to its users in everything related to the professional audio world. One of the main goals of this website is to create the largest shared database containing numerous samples, audio clips, short music segments, background noises, loops which have been recorded and edited by the community members only. We are interested in creating an original sound database containing new and innovative sounds of a distinct character which will make different makers stand out. It should be noted that this website unlike "myspace" should not be used for the publication of full audio songs. |

This website is designed for the use of those people who work within the postproduction industry, sound designers, musicians and producers, the videogame industry, website designers and ringtone makers, however you do not have to be a professional in order to be a community member and make use of the variety of services supplied by this website. Any person with an affinity to the sound world can find this site useful, enriching and fun. |
Can a member upload sounds that were not created or edited by the member himself?
No! We do not accept the occurrence of this phenomenon under any circumstances. Members may only upload original files which have been created by the member himself. We would like to emphisize that our objective is the creation of a free sound and information database under which the website's members could use the site's services in a legal manner free of harming other copyrights owners. This website was established in order to support the professional audio industry and not to harm it. |
